Submission Method

Design Requirements

  • Design must include the words “15” and “AIBE” (with “AIBE” in uppercase).
  • Match the Theme: “Building the Future" or 「知識引路, 建構未來」 for AIBE’s 15th anniversary celebration.
  • Each submission should include a concept description (up to 300 words) in either Chinese or English, explaining the design concept.

Submission formats

  • Logo aspect ratio: 4:3 or 1:1.
  • Participants must present their entries in a PDF file of A4 size (210 mm x 297 mm) as follows: the first page should display both color and black-and-white versions of the design, and the second page should provide a description of the design concept in no more than 300 words in either Chinese or English (font size 14, double-line spacing).
  • Source files in editable formats such as AI (Adobe Illustrator) or PSD (Adobe Photoshop) are also required.

Awards

  • Champion: HKD $4,000 and a trophy.
  • First Runner-up: HKD $2,500 and a trophy.
  • Second Runner-up: HKD $1,500 and a trophy.
  • Most Liked Award: HKD $1,000.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Once participants submit their entries, they agree to the terms and conditions of the competition. If Asian Institute of Built Environment Limited (AIBE hereafter) has reason to believe that a participant has violated any terms and conditions, it reserves the right to disqualify the participant from the competition or revoke their prize.
  2. If a participant's entry wins the championship, the participant agrees to transfer the intellectual property rights of the winning entry to the school. The participant also agrees that the school has the right to use, copy, publish, distribute, and modify all or part of the winning entry in any form, without limitation on frequency, region, or time, and without paying any royalties.
  3. The entries must be original and must not violate current intellectual property laws. Participants must ensure that their entries have not been publicly released, used for any other purposes, or entered into any other competitions in any form or via any channel. All elements used in the entries must be legally permitted and allowed for publication, reproduction, and printing. Participants are responsible for ensuring compliance with relevant intellectual property laws. Any acts of copyright infringement or violations of other intellectual property laws will render the participant liable for all related legal responsibilities. Additionally, the school will not be held liable for any losses or damages arising from such infringements or any legal actions resulting from such violations.
  4. Entries must meet the competition's requirements and format. The school reserves the right to disqualify any participant at any stage of the competition without prior notice if there are any deficiencies, and no objections will be entertained.
  5. There is no limit to the number of entries a participant can submit, but each participant can only win one prize.
  6. All information provided by participants for the purpose of entering the competition will be kept confidential. Participants’ personal data will only be used for communication regarding entry submission and judging, and for administrative purposes related to the competition.
  7. AIBE reserves the right not to accept or use any entry if no suitable entries are found.
  8. AIBE shall not be liable for any costs, expenses, liabilities, losses, or other consequences incurred or suffered by participants in relation to this competition.
  9. AIBE reserves the right to make final decisions regarding all aspects of the competition, including the interpretation, amendment, cancellation, or suspension of the terms and conditions, prizes, and other arrangements, without prior notice and without objection from any party.
  10. The Chinese version of the terms and conditions for this AIBE 15th Anniversary Logo Design Competition is translated to an English version. If there is any conflict or inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

We strictly comply with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO) and ensure that all personal data submitted through “www.aibe-edu.org” are handled in accordance with the relevant provisions of PDPO.
