Course Introduction
UK-SPEC 4th edition published by Engineering Council (EC hereafter) is effective starting from January 2022. It sets out the competence and commitment required for registration as CEng, IEng, Eng Tech and ICT Tech. CIBSE is one of the engineering institutions that have been licensed by the Engineering Council board to assess individuals for professional registration.
The competence criteria for the MCIBSE are directly aligned to the Competence Statements issued by EC. To fully understand the requirements of UK-SPEC 4th edition for CEng would be absolutely helpful for preparation of your EPR.
