APAP Part 2 – How to write EPR and DAP

AIBE Professional Achievement Programme (APAP)

Part 2 - How to write Engineering Practice Report (EPR) & Development action plan (DAP)

Course Introduction

Application of MCIBSE CEng requires submission of your Engineering Practice Report (EPR) and a Development Action Plan (DAP). EPR demonstrates your competence criteria with reference to UK-SPEC within the range of 4,000-5,000 words and DAP identifies your short, medium and long term goals.

APAP Part 2 aims at guiding applicants to prepare both EPR and DAP in 3 workshops (9-hour in total), including 2-hour lecture and 1-hour tutorial for each session. Key concepts and focus points related to EPR and DAP writing will be emphasized through lectures. During the tutorial session under the guidance of the tutor, you will take the opportunity in writing a simple draft of EPR and DAP based on your own project experience.
