Pyramids Everywhere: Down on Earth and Up in Heaven
Introduction
Pyramids can be found “everywhere” around the world, in countries like Egypt, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mexico, China, Korea, and United States, you may tell. Among them, the Great Pyramid of Giza in Egypt is most famous, which is the oldest of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. The study of it is a main school in Egyptology. Interestingly, there is a pyramid-like landscape found on Mars at the region called Cydonia, as discovered by Viking 1 orbiter in 1976. This talk will focus on these two pyramids and highlight some fascinating theories proposed on them so far.
