14:45 - 15:30 | MiC Application in HK Building Construction
SPEAKER Ir Dr Conrad WONG, BBS, JP BSc(Hons), BRS, MSc(Eng), MBA, PhD Vice Chairman, Yau Lee Holdings Limited ... Ir Dr Conrad Wong is a professional engineer who has over 30 years of building construction experience. He is the Vice Chairman of Yau Lee Holdings Limited, Managing Director of Yau Lee Construction and REC Engineering Co Ltd. Ir Dr Wong has a fervent interest in sustainable construction practices, including green building technologies, Building Information Modeling (BIM), as well as the innovations in modular construction, and construction automation. His leadership has been instrumental in the implementation of Hong Kong’s first concrete Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) for a government housing project. Ir Dr Wong is very active in public and community services. Currently, he is appointed as the Chairman of the Council of the Hong Kong Metropolitan University, the Chairman of the New Energy Transport Fund Steering Committee and the Deputy Chairman of the Energy Advisory Committee. |

Professor Cary Chan, MH, JP Executive Director of Hong Kong Green Building Council ... Professor Cary Chan, MH, JP is a professional engineer and is currently the Executive Director of Hong Kong Green Building Council with the vision of driving the green building agenda for Hong Kong. Cary is regarded as an expert on building energy efficiency by the industry. He pioneered “Knowledge Based Energy Management” in Hong Kong back in the late 90s. Using existing buildings as living laboratories, Cary has carried out a lot of researches relating to the enhancement of building energy efficiency. Up to now, Cary has published over 25 papers sharing his knowledge with the industry. A number of his work have won international awards, which includes Client of the Year - Low Carbon Operation Award by the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineers in 2010. Cary played a key role in establishing Hong Kong’s Green building assessment tool back in 1995. Since then he has been playing a leadership role on sustainable buildings within Hong Kong and abroad.

SPEAKER Dr Raymond WONG BSc, BBA, MSSc, MA, PhD Head of ESG Services in iRecycle Charity Foundation ... Dr Raymond Wong is the Head of ESG Services at Baguio Green Group (Stock Code: 1397), responsible for the business development of the Group's integrated ESG solutions. Baguio provides corporate clients with ESG Plus integrated environmental solutions, including environmental cleaning, integrated pest management, horticulture and landscaping, resource recycling, waste management and collection, green sandbags, and other customized ESG solutions to enhance corporate ESG performance. Dr Wong has worked in various listed companies across Mainland China and the Asia-Pacific region, covering areas such as financial planning, luxury retail, and the telecommunications industry. He possesses over 25 years of experience in business development, corporate training, marketing, and management. Additionally, Dr Wong has served as a guest lecturer at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Hong Kong Baptist University, and The Hong Kong Polytechnic University for over 10 years.
